The Herbarium Library is a branch of the Museums Library, which is part of the University of Michigan Library System. The focus of this collection is plant systematics, floristics, and monographic studies. Botanical books of a more general nature or concerned with disciplines other than systematics are housed in the Shapiro Science Library.

BORROWING
In order to charge materials from the Herbarium Library a borrowing card with a machine-readable barcode must be presented. Faculty, staff, and currently registered UM students may use their M-Card.

Books and Journals that are available for circulation may be requested via Library-to-Library Delivery.

RETURNS/RENEWALS
Books borrowed from the Herbarium Library may be returned or renewed at ANY branch of the University Library.
